London Marathon 2012 - Running for Leukaemia Research

Please sponsor me!!!
Leukaemia Foundation | Vision to cure. Mission to care.

I have signed up to run the Virgin London Marathon in April 2012 to raise funds to support people with blood cancer.

So why the Leukaemia Foundation??

In March this year, I shaved my head for The World’s Greatest Shave in a fund raiser for the Leukaemia Foundation – I did this with a group of people at work and we raised about $18,000. I know that, in particular women reading this will understand how challenging and confronting that is. No kidding – here’s the photo...

On behalf of the Leukaemia Foundation, I am also asking for your support! My target is to raise $10,000 in donations for the Leukaemia Foundation because this amount can make the world of difference to those in need. The Leukaemia Foundation suggested the marathon because it is one of the biggest challenges for those of us who aren't ill can attempt. When I did my first marathon in October 2011 in Melbourne it was so difficult, I swore I would not do another one. But life is full of challenges, so when the Leukaemia Foundation suggested the London Marathon I thought what better way to raise funds to help those facing the challenge of leukaemia. So - please support me! Your donation will make a real difference in someone's life.
