Over the past few years, I have lost 25kg - a real team effort with Allan who is now my personal trainer. This year, I have completed two half-marathons and on 9-10-11 I completed the full Melbourne Marathon! We are working on other challenges to keep the fitness journey interesting...The LONDON MARATHON in April 2012! Along the way, I am interested in hearing about other fit sistas, and will be posting inspirational articles and stories...

The Day After the Sports Massage :o
My shoulders and legs feel like they've been punched from the sports massage yesterday - but it feels good in an odd sort of way - I have bruises on my calves! So tonight was stretching and abs - got the heart rate up on the bike (7km), followed by leg lifts, step-ups, squats and sit-ups. Then spent half an hour stretching in the stretching frame and on the floor. Walked out after the session feeling as though I was floating - just awesome!!
