OK - we all know that keeping fit can be tough at times (well, not really - it's just an excuse!). And we have heaps of other excuses for not keeping fit and getting soft around the middle - and the best of all is 'I'M TOO OLD!!' I'm too old to exercise - it's for young people - my body can't move like it used to - the gym is full of young people - since menopause I can't seem to move the weight - I'm too tired...etc etc
Well, being 'old' or any age is not a reason or excuse - age is just a fact - like whether you are tall or short. So for all those people who think they finally have the safe haven excuse of 'TOO OLD' - sorry, that excuse does not exist, just like every other excuse you probably have wheeled out.
When we stop moving - exercising, walking and running, lifting weights - our bodies think it's time to stop altogether. When we stop, we turn the switch off.
My question is 'Why do we stop moving?'
Look at these three great examples of women who through exercise, have fit beautiful bodies and in doing so challenge the 'normal' perception of what an older body looks like and is capable of.
All I can say is 'THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRATION'
